Note; for the first time in months I didn’t pick up a single tooth flosser!A further 95 lbs was picked up 23 volunteers at Sanders Beach

We keep track of the number of volunteers (9), lbs of trash (112 lbs) and volume (# of trash bags). For this Saturday a total of 228 lbs, 32 volunteers and 1 x 13, 8 x 40 and 3 x 50 USG trash bags.Also keep track of “unique” items. It is something else to find numerous alcohol containers along the side of the highway!

Blase Butts July 29, 2019 Plastics come in all sizes!At Park West parking lot and dog park, 86 lbs of trash was picked up by 21 volunteers. The month’s total was 546 lbs. The first month in 2019 less lbs were picked up than last year.

Blase Butts July 14, 2019 Jul 13 The impact of Hurricane Barry can be felt on the Blase Butts July 14, 2019 shoreline at Chimney and Bay Bluffs Parks. Normally there is 10+ feet of beach, water is now into the trees. 35 volunteers came out to collect 194 lbs of trash. Thank you!
