575 lbs at Wayside Park/Graffiti Bridge. Today another 540 lbs in one month!! Total lbs for day was 780 including 23 lbs pictured on the bay in front of Atlas/Fish House

three students from GBHS Science Nat’l Honors Society combined to be Site Captain at Chimney Park. A total of 35 volunteers (thanks to PCC Scorpions) collected 231 lbs in numerous trash bags. There was a lot of light items with the usual cig butts, Juul cartridges, flossers ….
46 volunteers at Naval Live Oaks, Park West and Bob Sites Bridge south collected 508 lbs bringing year’s total to 18,410 lbs!
William Hullett, manager of Walmart Store #2533 at Tiger Point donated $1,000. The money will be used for Oceanhour Shirts for our volunteers!

Last month picked up numerous plastic sleeves for Pensacola News Journals. A further 11 were found along Scenic Hwy
to stripe parking spaces.
Hats off to the 29 volunteers that moved over to the campground and picked up 346 lbs of trash. Thank you! 7 volunteers at the Bob Sikes Bridge collected 23 more lbs.

81 volunteers form Tiger Rock Martial Arts, Gulf Breeze Marine Science Club, Escambia HS Beta Club and Sandy Creek HS (Atlanta) picked up 149 lbs of trash. Underwater, 765 lbs was picked up around the pier by Third Coast Divers.
Thanks to Third Coast Divers the monthly total was 2,141 lbs and for the year 16,588!
Members of UWF’s Student Environmental Action Society helped to pick up 75 lbs of trash at Bartram park. A further 550 lbs was collected at Wayside Park/Graffiti Bridge by 83 volunteers
Each week has unique items - last week was 20+ Pensacola News Journal newspaper plastic wrappers along Scenic Hwy. This week it was 12 “airplane” size bottles of alcohol along a short stretch of Bayfront Pkwy!
24 volunteers removed 188 lbs. of trash from our beautiful coastline yesterday. All 3 spots were a little cleaner than usual so that's good! We’ll be back at Fort Pickens on September 28th, free entry to the park in honor of National Public Lands Day!
