A further 78 lbs was picked up at the south end of Bob Sikes Bridge by 13 volunteers bringing the first Saturday of the New Year to 379 lbs
Dec 28th What a mess at Bruce Beach....
28 volunteers picked up 1,239 lbs of trash!. This brought the year’s total to 22,437 lbs! ~20% higher than last year
Dec 21st Cleanup at Bartram & Wayside Parks cancelled...
due to continued rain.
All wasn’t lost this week, in cleaning our beaches - 365 lbs of trash was collected by 2 individuals at three different sites. Yearly total to 21,198 lbs.

On Monday Andy picked up 25 lbs at Ft Pickens. Andy and Blase collected 158 lbs at Hobo Beach - took lbs over the 21,000 mark for the year. Andy picked up a further 182 lbs at Bruce Beach

for 45 volunteers to collect 396 lbs of trash at Chimney and Bay Bluffs Parks.
An expensive find - in keeping with a 4 ft keyboard, watch and a heart monitor from the past.

Dec 7th. Trash picked up surpasses 20,000 lbs for the year....
It will be a challenge to beat the total for Dec. 2018 of 2,643 lbs! The second most ever collected in one month.
Today, students from Escambia High Beta, GBHS and West Florida helped to collect 202 lbs at Naval Live Oaks. A further 38 lbs was picked up by 9 volunteers at the S. end of Bob Sikes Bridge

Unmarred by 185 lbs of trash picked up by 37 volunteers. For November, 2,040 lbs picked up. Year-to-date of 19,942 lbs
Nov 23rd Prior to the rain and wind...
Nineteen volunteers at Sanders Beach picked up 109 lbs, two on the beach behind the Langdon Battery at Ft Pickens gathered 74 lbs and 25 people at Quietwater Beach gathered 125 lbs - day total of 308 lbs.
